Above Park Wood in the Black Mountains, Wales.
I used to live next to this woodland and walked up on this hill several times a week - but it rarely had these snow shadows!
This beautiful and peaceful ancient woodland, with areas of conifer, sits within the Brecon Beacons National Park overlooking the nearby town of Talgarth. It is alive with the songs and chatter of birds, including the nationally rare redstarts and pied flycatchers; and has an abundance of butterflies and woodland flowers.

I make all my own prints in my studio using the highest quality archival papers and pigment inks. For my colour prints I use a mould-made watercolour paper with a distinct textured surface.
For the mounted edition, the print is bonded onto a backing board and then the mount over the print to make a rigid composite artwork. The mount is signed in the bottom right hand corner. A label is fixed to the back of the board describing the work and is signed and numbered. All my matted prints are made in standard sizes and are compatible with ready-made frames.
For the framed edition I use a glassless black wooden frame. The print is bonded onto a backing board which is then permanently fixed inside the frame. The print is signed in pigment ink in the bottom right-hand corner. A label is fixed to the back of the board describing the work and is signed and numbered. A "sawtooth" hanger is affixed to the frame so your Fine Art Print is ready to hang.
